Text Box: Intronics was established in January 1988, with the main aim of specialising in the field of Optical Flame Detection. The success achieved since that time has been considerable and includes various awards such as the NatWest - BP award for Technology and a Kent Export Award. Developments include a range of Flame Detectors which are supplied to both UK and customers worldwide. We have developed a wide customer base both in the UK and overseas. One of our most notable sales achievements has been to become one of the major suppliers to the UK MoD for Flame Detectors to protect RAF aircraft hangars.

Text Box: All Flame Detectors which we manufacture are soak tested for seven days to ensure utmost reliability and to detect unlikely but possible defective electronic components. Quality control is considered of paramount importance due to the nature of these devices and to ensure customer satisfaction. Although we are basically a sales organisation, After Sales Support has always been a major consideration. Where possible, we operate on an exchange unit basis, exchanging a serviceable unit for an unserviceable unit. This enables us to keep turn round times to a minimum. We have become quite unique with our range of Optical Flame Detectors in that we combine detectors of our manufacture with compatible detectors from other manufacturers. As no one manufacturer produces all variations of Flame Detectors, this enables us to offer probably one of the most comprehensive ranges available.
