WHY IS SUCH A SERVICE REQUIRED?

 

The selection of Flame Detectors for a given application is at times quite complex due to the variables involved.   Although false alarm criteria is often invisible to the human eye, it can be seen by these detectors.  Installations may contain large numbers of detectors where if the wrong type of detector is selected, the manufacturer or supplier may not accept their return for credit.   At best, the cancellation charge may be as high as 50%.   

 

Another important factor to consider is that Flame Detectors are so specialised that only a small number of people are specialists in this field.   Based on the fact that “a little knowledge is dangerous”, it may well be worth your while to engage the services of a specialist as savings could be considerable!

 

 

SUPPLIERS OFFER THIS SERVICE FREE OF CHARGE!

 

Most suppliers are reputable and do provide their recommendations free of charge but they will not often suggest you go to a competitor for a more suitable detector.

 

 

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR INTRONICS TO BE IMPARTIAL?

 

Quite simple, we will suggest a Flame Detector we manufacture and waive the consultancy fee.   Alternatively, if we suggest more suitable detectors from a specific manufacturer other than ourselves, the consultancy fee will apply.
