The availability of the low cost Model 101 provides  the benefits of high speed flame detection for many applications, previously restricted by the high cost of optical flame detectors.   This device is quick and easy to install, similar to a heat or smoke detector.
  
If installed correctly, the Model 101 will detect flame quickly and efficiently at an affordable price.

 

As with all UV Flame Detectors, during installation, avoid areas containing spurious sources of UV such as sparks, quartz halogen lights (not covered by glass), lightning etc.  Test the detector at regular intervals.
