The Model 101-9Ex UV Flame Detector has been developed to fill the need for a basic flameproof  (explosion proof) UV Flame Detector for low budget applications.

These detectors, although basic, will detect flame quickly and efficiently, similar to high specification units available at a much higher cost ( ± £800 to £900).

As with all UV Flame Detectors, during installation, avoid areas containing spurious sources of UV such as sparks, quartz halogen lights (not covered by glass), lightning etc.   Test the detector at regular intervals.
